Wiarton Willie
Well, it seems that Wiarton Willie came out today and did not see his shadow, which means that it will be an early spring (at least here in Ontario).
There is a bit of conflict between Willie and some of his woodchuck cousins. Shubenacadie Sam of Nova Scotia and Pennsylvania's Punxutawney Phil both saw thier shadows this morning, a possible indication of a longer winter.
All things considered, they are still probably more accurate than The Weather Network.
